Here’s what some of our current volunteers think:
” What I really like about the work I’ve been asked to contribute to, is that I have already been able to see its impact. As a volunteer for SIWYC, there is a real opportunity to make a difference to young people’s lives. ” – Khadija
“Having had my own struggles at school because I’m dyscalculic, I know how important it is to actually listen to young people and help them when they’re having a hard time. Sabrina Jones, Say It With Your Chest’s founder, has a brilliant focus and really brings the whole team together. She works really hard every day to provide young people with the support they need to improve their lives, and that in turn inspires me to give back and do as much as I can so the company can continue to offer young people a positive experience with their education. ” – Katie
” Volunteering for Say It With Your Chest is a privilege – knowing my time and effort is going towards such a worthy cause and also because I’m learning so many new skills along the way. The work that I produce is always valued, which is a great feeling. There is always a strong sense of teamwork and camaraderie between Sabrina and us volunteers and it is a great atmosphere to work in.” – Tilly
“Volunteering for Say It With Your Chest has been a huge learning experience for me. Working to achieve social change is never easy but volunteering has taught me many valuable lessons in empathy, teamwork and coordination, which can be applied in many different areas of work. Young people need a voice and Say It With Your Chest not only provides them with one, but also fights to provide them with a stake in their future and that is something in which I am really proud to be a part of.” – Luke
Volunteers are vital to the success of the organisation and your efforts will help us to expand our impact. If we sound like the kind of organisation that you would like to be a part of then please get involved and apply to join the team and become a volunteer.
